PRIMARY SCHOOL
Harapan Bangsa Primary School uses the National Curriculum, the Merdeka Curriculum, which has been developed by adopting the Pearson Edexcel Curriculum and having a partnership with Confucius Institute at Tanjungpura University. It is created and implemented in the learning process to include creativity, problem-solving, solidarity, empathy, tolerance, honesty, and the students’ lifetime by using various media and methods; thus enhancing their academics, character education, information technology, and language. Apart from that, each lesson is planned thoughtfully to achieve our goals of not only imparting knowledge but also fostering young minds to become learners of character who will contribute positively to society.
Students are the subjects of learning in the school’s active learning curriculum, which is “student as the center.” The teacher’s role is to act as a facilitator who encourages students to actively learn through a range of techniques. Students can do experiments and make their conclusions about a problem, for instance. Students will always be able to explore and take part actively in all activities with the facilities available in each class. In every activity, student discipline is essential.
